The Hotel Windsor boasts a charming and historic ambiance, situated in a highly convenient location near tram lines 86 and 96, offering easy access to Southern Cross Station and the city. Guests appreciate the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, with some suites even including separate lounges with a second TV. While the decor is generally admired, a few guests have noted that some furniture appears worn; nevertheless, many enjoy the on-site Cricketers Arms bar, especially the Club sandwich, and find the location ideal for walking to shopping, dining, and attractions like the MCG.

the location was great. the room had plenty of space, i especially appreciated that. the bed was very comfortable and i slept well. the marble bathroom was another high point.
the furniture seemed aged. the concierge was abrupt when i asked for my name, surprising. the provision of coffee sachets seemed stingy. i was also told i could boil my own water, which i found odd.
